Rainer Munz is the Academic Director of the First School of Banking and Finance (First Group), and Senior Fellow at the Hamburg World Economy Institute (HWWI). From 2008 - 2010, Munz was a member of the reflection group Horizon 2020-2030 of the European Union. Currently he teaches at the University of St. Gallen. He is an expert on issues of population development, international migration and demographic aging and their impact on economy, social security systems and the banking business.
