Consumer-driven changes in media behavior

The Internet has become the most relevant communication medium.  Communication and trade have changed significantly. For the economy – especially in Austria with high SME density—unprecedented opportunities await. However, marketing decisions are often still lacking.

Since 2006, Karl Pall has been Country Manager for Google Austria. Previously he was Managing Partner of 12snap, a leading provider of mobile marketing since 2005. Prior to that Pall held various executive marketing positions at Coca-Cola. He worked in various advertising agencies in the country and abroad: in Tokyo in 1992 and 1996 in New York, where he began at one of the first new media agencies with “www” marketing.

From contacts to results

Buying decisions are becoming less and less based on classic “above-the-line” advertising. The future of advertising follows the old Henry Ford proverb – after 50% of advertising investments are spent, they are in the past. Performance Marketing delivers concrete results and increasingly solves the “black box” of classic advertising.

Martin Stohr has, since 2006, been Managing Partner of komdat.com, one of Europe's leading performance marketing agencies with offices in Munich and Vienna. Stöhr leads the company together with founding partner Holger Aurich and is responsible as Managing Director for customer management, business development, marketing, finance and HR. Between 1990 and 2005 Martin Stöhr worked as a consultant for his own company, as well as in management positions for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich, and Gemini Consulting in Bad Homburg.
