Saskia Wallner was born in Vienna, and completed studies of law in Vienna, Paris and Florence. He had his court year at the Austrian Constitutional Court. She completed postgraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Bologna, and then worked at the European Commission in Brussels.

Wallner was then active in sales and marketing at the PSK group and BA/CA group. She trained in systemic organizational consulting in Berlin. From 1998 to 2010 she was employed in Vienna and London at Pleon Publico Relations & Lobbying, first as a Senior Consultant, then as a Partner and Member of the Pleon European Board. Since 2011 she has been the Managing Director of Ketchum Publico in Vienna.
