Peter Brandner is an Expert in Empirical Economic and Financial Market Research for the Federal Ministry of Finance. Before that, he was Economic Adviser to the Cabinet of Grasser Minister of Finance, Economist at the Austrian Institute for Economic Research (WIFO), as well as at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS), University of Vienna and in the Austrian National Bank (OENB). His research interests and publications include the areas of monetary and fiscal policy as well as financial markets. He also acts as an expert for the State Debt Committee.
